High Standards for Holy People

Identification as the people of God involves a responsibility of practical godly living. Jesus is Lord and He has the right to regulate every aspect of our lives. Do you struggle with yielding control of your life to the authority of Christ? The nation of Israel had standards of living defined in the Law of Moses. Keeping these standards did not earn Israel their position with God, but they had the standards because of their position with God (Leviticus 19:1-2).
