Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery: You Are Commanded to Be Faithful
The Ten Commandments (Ten Words) given by God through Moses are much more than a recommended code of conduct for one people group. They are mistakenly viewed as being restrictive and prohibitive of joy, when in fact they are laws that lead to living in freedom. In a world that continues to destroy relationships through expressions of so called sexual freedom, we need to understand why the Lord commands us to not commit the sin of adultery.
In Deuteronomy 5:18, we are reminded of God’s command to not commit adultery, but remain faithful to our spouses and to Him.
